  it properly. And that’s exactly the point of a true Coral
  Coast adventure.
  
  A Perth to Exmouth trip doesn’t feel like something you do in a hurry in a
  weekend. It’s more of a gradual discovery, the way the ocean views and the
  coastline change around you. You depart from Perth with the coastal road carrying you north.
  At first, it’s wheatbelt paddocks. Then, before you’ve even hit cruise control, you’re pulling
  over at viewpoints above stretches of empty beach where the Indian Ocean crashes in off the Indian Ocean.
  
  You could choose a flight instead of driving, but you’d skip the essence of the
  Coral Coast drive – one of those rare roads where every few hundred kilometres reveals something unexpected,
